BridGuru (hereinafter "BridGuru" or "We") is the manager of the personal data of each user (hereinafter "User" or "You") who accesses Our site at bridguru.com ("Platform") which facilitates User access to online courses and learning communities ("Service").
This BridGuru privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") contains how We store, manage, process and disclose Your personal data. By continuing to visit the Platform and/or Services, You are deemed to have known, understood and agreed to this Privacy Policy and Our collection of Your personal data. Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual ("Personal Data").
We may update the Privacy Policy from time to time and will notify you of such changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. Unless otherwise stated, changes to this Privacy Policy will take effect immediately from the date of upload, which is stated in the last update date section. By continuing to use the Platform and/or Services after changes to the Privacy Policy become effective, you agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy as updated from time to time.
Your agreement to this Privacy Policy is considered as Your action to waive the right to claims, losses, demands, or lawsuits that may occur for the use of Your data in Our system. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully before continuing access to the Platform and/or Service.
REPRESENTATIVE
In the event that you use the Platform on behalf of a legal entity, business entity, or other institution ("Institution") you represent that you are authorized to act for and on behalf of the Institution and to cause the Institution to follow and be bound by this Privacy Policy.
AGE OF CHILD
You represent that you are at least 13 (thirteen) years old. If you are under 18 years of age, use of the Platform and/or Services must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian. We are not responsible for the input of your personal data, and recommend that the provision of such data be monitored by your parents / guardians. Your use of the Platform and/or Service is deemed to be a form of your parent/guardian's consent to this Privacy Policy.
PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
1. Personal Data You Submit
This is Personal Data that you provide when you:
- Account creation on the Platform, either as a Mentor or User, such as full name, email, cell phone number, and bank account for Mentors;
- Perform Transactions with Us using credit cards, debit cards, checks, money orders and/or third party payment services. For such purposes, We will collect Your Personal Data which includes but is not limited to billing address, telephone number, payment information, including payment card type and last four digits, postal code, country of origin, payment expiration date, and any email address associated with the payment type;
- Interact with Us, either through a contact address or social media. The Personal Data that We store includes but is not limited to name, contact number, profile picture, and other data contained in the contact or social media account that You use; and
- Voluntarily provide other Personal Data necessary to access the Platform and use the Services.
2. Automatically Recorded Personal Data
Is Your Personal Data that We obtain automatically when You visit the Platform, which includes but is not limited to:
- technical information, including internet protocol address (IP Address), login information, type and version of browser used, operating system, time zone setting and real-time geo location; and
- visit information, including the time of each of Your activities on the Platform, a complete list of URLs visited, log data, products that You view or search on the Platform, transaction data, and telephone numbers and email addresses used to contact Our team.
3. Personal Data Obtained from Other Sources
We may collect Your Personal Data from other sources, such as public databases, financial service providers and Our partners with whom We have entered into agreements regarding the transmission of Your Personal Data to support the development of the Services for You. In addition, Your Personal Data may also be obtained from other publicly available sources of information.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA
Your Personal Data may be used by Us for the following purposes:
- Provides key services that include customized course recommendations as well as a mentoring system by Mentors.
- Enhance artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities to improve the accuracy of course recommendations.
- Maintain system integrity by implementing security measures and mitigating against potential fraud, especially in Transactions and interactions with Mentors.
- Any other purposes communicated to you from time to time, which are permitted by applicable laws and regulations.
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
- If necessary, the Mentor may access the Participant's Personal Data in order for the Mentor to conduct training for the Participant.
- Both We and Mentor may use Personal Data for their respective business purposes, while complying with the Privacy Policy, Terms and Conditions, and applicable laws and regulations in the Republic of Indonesia. Mentors are responsible for the management and use of Participants' Personal Data, and are committed to complying with all legal provisions related to the protection of Personal Data under their control.
- As part of the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, We may disclose Your Personal Data to third parties, including but not limited to subsidiaries, affiliated companies, vendors, business partners, consultants, marketing partners, government agencies, law enforcement agencies, research institutions, and other service providers. This disclosure is made to support marketing activities, improvement, and optimization of Our services, including other publication activities, both inside and outside the territory of the Republic of Indonesia.
- We guarantee that your Personal Data will not be transferred, sold, rented, or disseminated to third parties outside the purposes stated in the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Exceptions only apply if there is an official request from a court or authorized legal institution to fulfill legal obligations and applicable regulations.
STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
- We ensure that your Personal Data is encrypted and protected using the best security systems to prevent unauthorized access, loss or misuse of data.
- We will keep all of your Personal Data for as long as:
- You are still a Platform user;
- at least 5 (five) years from the date you stop using the Platform; or
- in accordance with the original purpose for which the Personal Data was collected.
- Users are responsible for the security of their account credentials. BridGuru is not responsible for any leakage or unauthorized access to Personal Data caused by user negligence, including but not limited to disclosure of passwords or other sensitive information to third parties.
CORRECTION AND AMENDMENT OF PERSONAL DATA
You can make corrections, changes, and/or deletion of Your Personal Data independently through the Account dashboard on the Platform.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
We utilize artificial intelligence (artificial intelligence) technologies to enhance the User experience on BridGuru, such as providing personalized course recommendations based on user activity within the platform.
The artificial intelligence system does not process any sensitive personal data and is solely intended to improve content relevance and user engagement.
COOKIES
When You use the Platform, We may store cookies on Your browser. Cookies are small digital files placed on the computer or device that You use to access and/or utilize Our Services. We use cookies to record Your visit, ensure the smooth operation of the Platform, count the number of visitors, as well as other purposes that support the functioning of the Service in accordance with applicable regulations.
You may refuse or adjust the use of cookies through your device settings. However, by choosing to disable or limit cookies, You understand that some features of the Platform may not be able to function optimally. Therefore, You agree to release Us from any consequences that may arise from such decision.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- We are responsible for the protection and security of Personal Data in Our system and make reasonable efforts to prevent Personal Data protection failures that are purely caused by Our system. In the event of failure in such protection, We will notify You in writing within a maximum of 14 (fourteen) calendar days after the incident.
- We are not responsible for any Personal Data leakage caused by you or third parties.
- You are responsible for the security of your account by maintaining the confidentiality of login information, such as email, password, and other data used to access your Account.
- We are not responsible for the validity, truthfulness, accuracy or completeness of the data that you provide to us.
- We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations under this Privacy Policy if it is caused by Force Majeure. Force Majeure includes events beyond our control that cannot be prevented or overcome, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, war, riots, demonstrations, sabotage, system failures by third parties, banking system failures, or changes in regulations issued by the Government that have an impact on the implementation of this Privacy Policy. If Force Majeure occurs, We will provide written notice within a maximum of 10 (ten) calendar days after the Force Majeure event.
